We recently took a romantic getaway to a hotel in the desert. The hotel provided two complimentary activities that we enjoyed, in addition to many paid activities at different price points. The location was perfect, as there were several hiking trails nearby with stunning views. We also appreciated the heated pool, which was perfect for dipping on cooler evenings.

We did experience some negatives during our stay. The hotel seemed more family-oriented, with many children running around and making noise.
