Fantastic staff, experienced team. Family-owned property full of character, a hidden gem in a less traveled part of Italy. Excellent restaurant, surprising given the remote location. Exceptional property with medieval charm, comfortable rooms, free parking, and pet-friendly.

I had a fantastic experience at this charming castle turned hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room, decorated with antique furniture, was spacious and cozy. The breakfast offered a variety of options in a relaxing atmosphere. The location, overlooking the medieval square, was breathtaking and provided a unique view of the castle walls, fountain, and church. The castle itself had a shop filled with lovely items to buy and the restaurant nearby served delicious food.

The lack of wifi signal in the rooms was a slight inconvenience.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel in the heart of a medieval village. The location, perched on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, offered breathtaking vistas of the surrounding valleys. The views from my room were stunning, with a panorama that made me never want to leave. The hotel's attention to detail was evident throughout, from the charming exterior courtyards with stone nooks and benches to the delicious breakfast spread with a wide selection of options. The staff were welcoming and friendly, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I also had the opportunity to try the local wine, which was recommended by the hotel and absolutely delightful.

Stunning view of a real medieval square, fountain, and castle. WiFi worked on the balcony. Delicious food with reasonably priced wine. Easy access from the highway. Despite some drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, I had a fantastic stay at Castello Di Vigoleno. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking a picturesque medieval square, a charming fountain, and a majestic castle. The room itself was tastefully decorated, embracing the historic ambiance of the place. The WiFi worked well on the balcony, allowing us to stay connected while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We had the opportunity to dine at the Castello and the quality of the cooking was top-notch, with a fresh meat plate and delectable stuffed ravioli as highlights. The wine list was reasonably priced and the desserts were mouthwatering. Located just 30 minutes from the highway, it was a convenient and worthwhile detour from our journey. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable experience.

The castle setting was beautiful with breathtaking views of the valley below. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though we arrived late. The breakfast was included in the price of our stay and was delicious with plenty of coffee and pastries.

The linens had a musty smell and the AC didn't work properly, making it difficult to sleep at night. The advertised Wi-Fi was non-existent in our room and the mosquitoes were unbearable due to the lack of working AC. the experience was not worth the price we paid for it.
