The location of this retreat is fantastic, with numerous quality restaurants and bars in the old town just a short walk away. The rooms are beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, providing the perfect combination of comfort and authenticity. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, offering helpful recommendations and assisting with any needs. Breakfast is a highlight, with a delicious assortment of locally sourced and fresh products. Guests can also enjoy a lovely patio area for a relaxing drink.

The only drawback is that some rooms have a lack of bathroom privacy, with curtain doors instead of fully walled off spaces.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and beautifully decorated room at Conche Luxury Retreat. The bathtub in the room was a luxurious touch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even helped us secure reservations for lunch and dinner. The breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious. Despite a minor issue with the hot water, the hotel was apologetic and offered a reduced charge. we highly recommend this retreat for a luxurious and memorable stay in Matera.

Nothing it was perfect.

Enjoyed my new year stay in the heart of an Italian town with beautiful scenery and delicious breakfast. The hotel had a large, spacious room that was stylishly decorated with modern furnishings which was perfect for a relaxing break. The location was fantastic, situated close to many popular restaurants and bars, as well as key tourist attractions. One of the best parts of my stay was the helpful and friendly staff who were always eager to assist.

One drawback was the lack of shade on the terrace, making it difficult to sit outside during the hotter parts of the day. Another issue was the distance from the nearest parking area, and with heavy luggage, it was a bit of a hassle to get to the hotel.
