The property, located just a kilometer from Piazza Maggiore, is small but surprisingly well made. The common area with its unique decor made from plumbing pipes was a highlight. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the adjacent pub/restaurant added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended for those on a small budget seeking a stylish and comfortable stay in Bologna.

I recently stayed at Funtanir in Bologna for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a large, comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom. The highlight for me was the Nespresso Krupps espresso machine and variety of tea options, all provided for free. They even included delicious biscuits and a small bottle of water in the room. I was also impressed by the on-top of the room windows and shutters, controlled by a portable touchscreen. The property itself was beautifully decorated, with a common space for cooking, eating, and leisure. I also appreciated the convenience of the attached bathrooms and the natural light from the big sun windows. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport and close proximity to the city center and grocery stores. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Funtanir.
