Renovated old hotel, good quality rooms, excellent lake view, nice swimming pool area, central location.

We recently stayed at a charming hotel for our romantic escape. The location was excellent, with a stunning view of the lake and hardly any traffic noise. The swimming pool area was also a nice touch, very relaxing and well-kept. Despite the basic rooms, the atmosphere of the hotel was lovely, maintaining the character of an old grand hotel. We also liked the fact that the Wi-Fi worked well during our stay.

There were some aspects that let down our experience. The bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade, and the smell was not pleasant.

The location of Grand Hotel Victoria was absolutely perfect for exploring Menaggio and enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. We were just a short walk away from the town square and had easy access to the C10 bus and ferry rides. The grand frontage and elegant entrance/reception area added to the charm and grandeur of the hotel. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the rooms and the daily housekeeping service were exceptional.

While the rooms were clean, they could benefit from a makeover. The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable, and the scent used in the hallway and rooms was quite overpowering for us, causing allergies and an uncomfortable night.

The hotel had breathtaking views everywhere on the lake, making it the best place to stay on Lake Como. Our room had a balcony with stunning views of the mountains and the pool. The staff were great, providing excellent service. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of delicious food. The hotel also had a beautiful building in a nice area, adding to its charm. We also enjoyed the peaceful and clean pool area.

The wifi was very weak, especially in the front desk lobby.

Staff was exceptional, always helpful and friendly. Location and views were excellent.Lovely secluded pool in the grounds.

Showers were hopeless. Scrambled eggs were consistently lukewarm.

This hotel was a luxurious experience with exclusive amenities that met all my needs. The Spa & wellness centre was top-notch, with an Indoor swimming pool, Sauna, and Jacuzzi all available for use. The Spa centre had private facilities and treatment rooms for the ultimate relaxation. The swimming pool was heated, and there were umbrellas and beach towels available for convenience. The location was also advantageous, being situated with a great view of the lake.

There was one minor issue during my stay. The restaurant's Special diet menus were limited, which was a shame for a hotel of this caliber.

Helpful and friendly staff. Quick service during breakfast. Convenient parking. Relaxed atmosphere. Would stay again.
