We came for one night only and stayed two and wish we could have stayed a whole week instead. That's because Matera deserves it and because the hotel was excellent. The concept of Albergo Diffuso is lovely - no corridors! Yay! Our room entrance was secluded and quiet and our bed super comfy. Breakfast was nice and we had dinner one evening and both were of good quality. The location couldn't be better with great views and near most attractions. Definitely going back and dragging friends with me! Cherry on top: we got to watch the latest 007 movie in Matera, which was magical. From the real thing into the movie and back to the real thing at the end of it.

The location and view were absolutely amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, with a fabulous bathroom and a very comfy bed. The hotel restaurant was also top-notch, serving amazing food in a beautiful setting. The homemade tarts and breads for breakfast were a treat. our stay was nothing short of amazing, and I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near most attractions in the city, making it easy to explore Matera. The rooms are remarkable and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Guests can enjoy a comfortable bed, great AC, and a fantastic shower. The breakfast served in the small dining room is excellent. Additionally, parking is available with a shuttle service to the city center, providing convenience for guests.

The climb down the 3 flights of stairs to the hotel entrance may be challenging for those with heavy luggage.

I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Palazzo Del Duca Luxury Hotel & Restaurant. The room was fantastic, with a king bed and great AC. The bathroom was fabulous, and I loved the large tub for a serene soak. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated right below the amazing Duomo cathedral and close to attractions like the primitive cave dwellings. The hotel restaurant, Alcova Ristorante, served amazing food, and I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast with homemade tarts and breads. The view of the uninhabited hillside from the hotel was tranquil and relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional amenities, great location, and wonderful staff.

We stayed at this luxury hotel for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location couldn't be better, as it is right in the middle of the old city, near most attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, assisting us with luggage and restaurant reservations. The room decor was fantastic, and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade pastries and focaccia. We really enjoyed the unique experience of having breakfast in a cave-like salon. this place exceeded our expectations and left us wanting to come back and bring our friends along.

During my business trip, I had an amazing experience in this hotel. The views from the hotel were breathtaking and the rooms were very spacious. the location of the hotel was perfect as it was very convenient to access all the places I needed to go to. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful which made my stay even more enjoyable.

I did face some issues during my stay. it was challenging to find the hotel due to the lack of noticeable signage.
