Our stay at Villa Matissa was absolutely delightful. The location of the property in the Trastevere neighborhood was perfect, with plenty of great dining options and historic sites nearby. The beautifully manicured garden where breakfast was served was a highlight of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff, nice decor, clean and comfy. Big bed, quiet at night. Beautiful garden for breakfast. Silvio arranged a private airport transfer for 50 euros, the driver waited 1.5 hours for us - great service, we tipped him well. Trastavere has many good cafes and bars.

Wow, Villa Matissa exceeded our expectations! The value for money was incredible, with spacious and charming rooms that were impeccably clean. The location in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood was perfect, just a short cab ride away from the bustling sights of the city. The staff, especially Silvio, were warm, gracious, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast selection could have been more varied.

The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area but still close to all the attractions. The rooms were well-equipped, with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. the communal facilities were great, such as the kitchen area and terrace, which provided a nice space to relax.

The juice provided for breakfast was not to my taste, as it was too sweet and tasted like fruit punch.

I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful guest house with a lovely garden. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Trastevere train station and the city center. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping. Silvio, the manager, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing great tips and allowing us to store our luggage after checkout. The peaceful atmosphere and dark room made for a restful sleep. Villa Matissa provided a fantastic experience.

Felt like being home, no complaint.

My daughter and I were warmly greeted by Silvio at the gate upon our arrival. He even arranged a driver from the airport to the villa, making our journey hassle-free. The Villa Matissa is located in a quiet and secure residential neighborhood, yet conveniently close to the vibrant areas of Trastevere and the Tiber bridges. We enjoyed exploring the city by foot, as everything was within walking distance. The beautiful gardens surrounding the villa added to the serene atmosphere. The continental-style breakfast provided was delicious and gave us a great start to the day. We would definitely choose Villa Matissa for our future trips to Rome. A truly pleasant stay!

Everything was spot on.

I recently stayed at a lovely guest house in Rome called Villa Matissa. The guest house is beautifully located near the Trastevere area, my favorite neighborhood in the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with private baths. The grounds are stunning, with a peaceful garden and a refreshing koi pond. The bus stops right outside the property, making it easy to explore the city. a delightful stay.
