I had a bit of trouble finding the hotel at first, but once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel's European furnishing theme brought me back in time while still providing all the modern comforts I needed. The room layout provided a sense of privacy, and even though it felt a bit small, it was still more spacious than other Japanese offerings. The staff, despite limited English proficiency, were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast served on the 12th or 13th floor, offering a wide range of choices. Plus, the hotel's location was excellent, as it was within walking distance of the TV tower, Odori park, and other attractions. I would highly recommend Hotel Monterey for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Sapporo.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center, close to the train station and within walking distance to major attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the city. The staff is helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of options. The hotel also has facilities like a spa and karaoke room, perfect for entertainment.

The hotel charges extra for the use of the onsen facilities, which should be included in the room rates.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel's luxurious amenities and impeccable service. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with exclusive facilities that met our needs. We particularly enjoyed the Spa & wellness center, which featured a sauna, massage parlors, a spa lounge and a hot spring bath. The restaurant, with its exquisite cuisine, lived up to our expectations. We couldn't help but appreciate the hotel's location, which was conveniently close to the city's main attractions.

Although our experience was largely positive, we did encounter a minor issue with the lack of public bath facilities. However, this did not detract from our overall satisfaction with the hotel.

Great city view from the room and excellent onsen facilities. Convenient location near the train station and tourist attractions. Polite and helpful staff made our stay enjoyable.

The cost of using the onsen was expensive, and the bathroom in the room was small and cramped.

Positive aspects of my stay in Sapporo: Convenient location near train station, beautiful view of the city, easy access to restaurants and shops, helpful and kind staff, clean and tidy room, amazing sunrise landscape. It was all superb.
