Conveniently located near Shigisan temple, with easy access to Nara and Osaka via Yamatoji JR line. Clean room with comfortable futons, private bath, and open view terrace. Friendly and hospitable staff. Delicious kaiseki dinner and impressive presentation. a great value for money.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail was superb. From the warm welcome tea and cookie to the beautifully presented dinner, every aspect was meticulously thought out. Secondly, the location was fantastic. Situated near a stunning temple, we were able to immerse ourselves in the local culture and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Lastly, the staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and always ready to assist, they truly made our stay memorable. The rooms were comfortable and had a private bath on the balcony, allowing us to relax and enjoy the scenery. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, offering a variety of traditional dishes. In summary, this hotel offers great value for money and is a hidden gem.

Spending Christmas at this traditional hotel was an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the local cuisine offered was amazing. The open-air bathtub on the balcony provided stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We also loved the location of the hotel, which was easily accessible by car and conveniently located near popular tourist attractions.

While we had an overall great experience, the lack of wifi in the room was a bit of a letdown. the room was a little outdated and could have used a bit of a refresh.
