During my recent stay at a ryokan in Gero, everything exceeded my expectations. The thoughtful and attentive staff offered to pick us up from the station, making our arrival convenient and hassle-free. The check-in process was welcoming and informative, with the staff providing helpful recommendations for exploring the town's hot springs.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The room was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities I could ask for. The heating was very effective, which was perfect for the winter weather. I also loved the separate kitchenette with a free mini bar, it was a nice touch. The service was excellent all round, and the staff were always welcoming and informative. The food quality and variety were outstanding, and the multi-course meal was a highlight of my stay. The onsen facilities were amazing, with two separate public onsens and a private outdoor onsen available for reservation. The hotel location was quiet and serene, away from any crowds.

I recommend this hotel to families who are looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location was peaceful and offered beautiful views of misty mountains and fall colors. The room was comfortable with effective heating and a separate kitchenette. The service was excellent with attentive and accommodating staff. The comprehensive meals provided were outstanding.

The checkout time of 10am was a bit early, but this seems to be the norm for ryokans in Japan.

The hotel staff contacted me beforehand to arrange transportation from the station and they were very accommodating when I arrived later than expected. The meals were outstanding and definitely worth getting the package with them included. The location is quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The onsen could have been larger and more impressive considering the price. Some of the staff had limited English which caused confusion during check-in.
