I had a fantastic stay at The Ridge Hakuba Hotel & Apartments. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. One evening, we were surprised with a delicious burger that turned out to be the best I've had in a long time. The location was convenient, with easy access to the bus stop and ski lifts. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for a ski trip, as it is just a short walk to the slopes at Happo. the free ski shuttle bus stops at the end of the drive, providing easy access to different ski areas in the region. There are also some great locally run restaurants nearby, offering a variety of dining options. The rooms are stylishly decorated, with comfortable beds and Japanese touches. The staff provides excellent service and is always willing to go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. The communal areas are spacious and cozy, with warm fires to relax by. The hotel also offers convenient facilities such as a ski room for drying gear and reading areas.

One small drawback is that not all rooms have baths, only showers.

Small and personal staff provided excellent service. Newly renovated hotel offers peaceful and relaxing stay. Great Western-style dinner with local food only a short walk away.

Location is not ski-in/ski-out, and walking in ski boots to the lift is a bit slippery. The slopes at Happo One Mountain are steep and do not offer many beginner slopes.

The spacious rooms were equipped with great facilities, including a ski storage room and a games room. The hotel's location was perfect, being just a short walk away from the ski lifts and hire shop. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
