Additionally, the hotel offers facilities like a foot onsen and a spa, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The ongoing construction was disruptive and caused noise during the day.

The hotel had a beautiful reception area and art displays. It also had lovely gardens and great amenities such as cafes and shops. The room was spacious and had a heater in the bathroom which was a nice touch. The futon was comfortable, and the duvets were warm. Service was excellent and staff were helpful.

The hotel was a bit older and not as clean as other hotels in Japan. The building had a smell of smoke in the room, and some areas needed to be updated with newer carpet and flooring.

The hotel, overall, exceeded my expectations.

We had a truly relaxing experience at Wataya Besso, with a beautiful garden illuminated by lanterns, creating a serene atmosphere. The buffet breakfast had an astounding variety of options and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Our Japanese-style room was clean and in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway.
