I stayed at Yokohama Central Hostel for about 2 weeks and had a fantastic experience. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and caring. The location is perfect, right next to Chinatown and Yamate, where you can explore beautiful foreign buildings for free. It's also conveniently close to Yokohama Bay and is easily accessible for day trips to Tokyo and Kamakura. The staff went above and beyond to help me navigate the area and made me feel right at home. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

This was my second stay at this place when visiting Yokohama. Even though it's not a modern hostel, it felt like a warm and welcoming family. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, taking care of us personally. The location is central, with easy access to train lines for exploring Tokyo and other areas. Chinatown and supermarkets are within walking distance. it was a great value for money with clean rooms, lockers, and the convenience of leaving luggage before and after check-in. Highly recommended for a cultural experience.

The staff, who were the owners of the hostel, were very friendly and caring. They took the time to chat with us and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the city. They even lent us an umbrella when it was raining. The environment was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location of the hostel was perfect, with both subway and train lines nearby, making it easy to explore the city. The hostel also provided lockers for each guest and had facilities for proper trash segregation. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the free coffee in the morning.

Free WiFi was a bonus, even though I could barely get any signal. The TV in the common area was great for pretending to socialize while avoiding actual human interaction. The multilingual staff were very helpful in ignoring me completely.
