I stayed at a hotel close to everything in Mexico City. Several nearby metro stations make it easy to get around. The hotel is within walking distance of the zocalo, museums, and Reforma. There are also restaurants in the mall below the hotel, which is convenient when you're tired or it's late.

We had a perfectly fine stay at Fiesta Inn. The staff at the front desk were friendly and informative, and the young lady at the bar made sure we were caffeinated every day. The hotel's location in a shopping mall was convenient, just a short walk to the Zocalo Plaza. Our room was clean and comfortable, and despite some street noise, we slept well. I would recommend this hotel for its inexpensive price and central location.
