The location was perfect, right by the ferries, taxi terminal, and main tourist road. The room was clean, spacious, and well-ventilated. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a safe in the room, iron and ironing board. The breakfast was elaborate with an omelette station, waffles, meat buffet, fruit, yogurt. The hotel had a quiet street at night, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. a great hotel with inviting entrance and lobby.

It was also a short distance from the pier and taxi station, so getting around was a breeze. The room had a comfortable bed and a sofa which added to our relaxation. No complaints, everything was perfect!

The location is a total bonus as they are just a block away from the square and a block from the water. Being central made it very convenient for our type of travel. The service and staff were excellent, always accommodating our personal needs. The basic amenities provided were great, and the rooms, although a bit dark and oddly furnished, were very clean and spacious. The breakfast at the nearby sister hotel Mexicani was awesome, and the fact that they had a swimming pool and free bicycle rental was a really good addition.

The included breakfast at the sister hotel, Casa Mexicana, was a definite highlight, offering a delicious buffet spread. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, including great restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and sites in El Cento. The HD flat-screen TV and the safe in the room were convenient amenities. I had a fantastic stay at Suites Colonial and would highly recommend it.

There is a bar next door which was very loud at night. If you're a party person, it might be excellent local flavor, but it can disturb your sleep.
