I got great value for my money at the Bastion Hotel in Bussum. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The hotel's location next to the train station was convenient for exploring Amsterdam and other nearby areas. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a nice atmosphere throughout my stay.

For the breakfast option, it would have been better if there was more variety. Specifically, it would have been nice to have consistent availability of bacon and natural yogurt.

The room I stayed in was at the back of the building, so I didn't experience any noise from the traffic or trains. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is within walking distance to the small city centre, which is prettily lit and has decent restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped with a TV and complimentary coffee and water. The staff is friendly and ready to oblige with train schedules.

There were noise disturbances from passing trains when the windows were open.
