Spacious deluxe studio with excellent shower and beautifully designed bathroom. Lounge/bedroom had a great ambiance and was extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating, fitting me in for dinner despite being busy. Great location. 👌

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel that is right across from the ocean. The room was comfy with all the amenities I needed, including a terrace with garden furniture. The staff provided excellent service.

Our stay at the Art Deco Masonic Hotel was truly delightful. The highlight was undoubtedly the historical pictures adorning the walls, showcasing the rich history of Hawke’s Bay. The marine parade entrance led us straight into a world of captivating nostalgia. The old staircase in the middle added to the charm, and we were lucky enough to explore the upstairs area after asking. At the back, The Rose pub offered something different every night, bringing together a wonderful mix of fellow travelers.

Nothing for me.

As youngsters, we loved the cool and stylish vibe of the hotel. The rooms had a fantastic design, and the high ceilings added an extra wow factor. The bed and pillows were super comfy, and the bathroom was spotless with an amazing shower. We also had the convenience of nearby restaurants and cafes for breakfast.

We felt totally at home during our stay, and the staff was always ready to help. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the activity with a beautiful view of the waterfront. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean, with nice touches like a large selection of teas/coffees. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, even going above and beyond to assist with car problems.

The location was fantastic, right on the ocean-front and in the heart of the city. It was perfect for exploring and dining, with plenty of options nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us during our stay. The decor of the hotel was beautiful, even better than what we had seen in the pictures. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was huge and very comfortable.

One negative aspect was the traffic noise from the main street. It was quite loud at times, especially with the noisy mufflers of the passing cars.

We had a truly amazing stay at this authentic historical gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The decor throughout the hotel is beautifully art deco, adding a unique touch to the overall ambiance. Our room was luxurious, with high-quality linens, furniture, and amenities. The central location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the local Museum and the War Memorial Conference facility on Marine Parade. We also appreciated the assistance of Nika at the front desk, who was knowledgeable and courteous in helping us book tours. The bar served delicious, uniquely crafted cocktails that we thoroughly enjoyed. our experience at the Art Deco Masonic Hotel was truly exceptional.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The shower was fantastic, offering a refreshing and enjoyable experience. The mini fridge came in handy for keeping drinks and snacks cool. The overall decor of the hotel was pleasing, adding to the ambiance of our stay.

We felt like we were in our own home throughout our stay, so there was nothing to complain about.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore the main center and enjoy the nearby Napier Waterfront. The beautiful ocean view from some of the rooms adds a touch of serenity to the stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated with an arty design, and the bathrooms are well-appointed with luxurious amenities such as Elemis shampoo and body wash. The friendly and warm staff provide excellent service, ensuring a delightful experience for guests.

Parking is a short stroll away and comes at an additional cost, which could be a slight inconvenience for guests.

Spending Christmas at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The complimentary festive decorations and treats made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to many great restaurants and museums. The best aspect was waking up to the beautiful view of the beach from our balcony.

The thermostat in our room was preprogrammed and we couldn't adjust the temperature. It was pretty chilly, and we had to ask for a portable heater which took awhile to arrive.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with a balcony overlooking the beach and some beautiful Art Deco attractions. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with a large shower that was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, having an espresso coffee machine in the room was a great bonus and a nice touch.

One major downside was the lack of information provided by the hotel. We couldn't find any details about the available amenities, local attractions, room service, or even nearby restaurants that would deliver to our room.

loved the central location, friendly staff, and unique decor. exceeded my expectations and felt very welcome. will definitely be back to napier!
