Our stay at Santa Maria was an absolute delight. The hotel is breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding region. We were fortunate to stay in room #33, which had the most beautiful view of the town and the Rioja region. The attention to detail in the room's decor was impressive. We were also lucky to meet the owners, who gave us a tour of the building and showed us their 11th century wine cellar. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and luxurious experience.

We had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel. The refurbished building seamlessly integrates the old architecture with modern design, creating a unique and beautiful atmosphere. The spacious suites were thoughtfully decorated and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding region. The rooftop and garden were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning scenery. The private restaurant had a charming ambiance and an extensive wine selection. Not to mention, the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We couldn't have asked for a better location, as the hotel sits atop a hill with a mesmerizing view.

It's a shame that there were not many restaurants in the small town and we had to travel to a nearby one for more options. there were some communication difficulties with some of the staff who didn't understand English very well.

The lack of dining options in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. While the on-site restaurant was great, there were limited choices for eating out nearby, especially on weekdays.
