The location of the hostel is perfect for those who prefer to stay away from the crowded and touristy parts of the island. It is a short 10-minute walk from the beach, and there are plenty of street food options nearby. Renting a scooter is recommended for exploring other parts of the island, and there are many rental shops along the road. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a homey feeling at the end of each day. The bathrooms and showers are of high standard, exceeding expectations.

The hostel lacks free water refills, which is disappointing considering it is located on an island.

The hotel's location is perfect! It's walking distance to a gorgeous beach with many great restaurants nearby. The room was surprisingly spacious and also came with a hair dryer which was a nice touch. The hotel also had free tea and coffee available for guests.

The bathroom had a really unpleasant smell which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the common areas like the kitchen and leisure room could have been cleaner. It would have been better if the hotel provided a small fridge in the room, especially since amenities like towels cost extra.

I had a great stay at The Habitat Hostel in Koh Chang. The reception, common area, and kitchen all being in one place made it easy to meet people and connect with fellow travelers. Ake, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful and always there to assist with anything I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with very good mattresses that allowed for a good night's sleep. The location was perfect for me, as it was in a calm area away from the crowded tourist spots. The hostel was also near a beautiful beach and had good restaurants, a supermarket, and a motorbike rental store nearby. I highly recommend staying at The Habitat Hostel for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
