Close to shops and restaurants. Tasty food at the hostel restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere with nice beach and stunning sunsets. Clean and comfy Thai-style rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.

The beach facilities were great, with comfortable sunbeds and good restaurant services. We enjoyed the delicious food the restaurant had to offer. the staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay hassle-free. Finally, the hotel location was central and close to many restaurants and shops.

The bungalows were outdated and the mosquito nets had some holes. Cleaning was also a problem, as we had to ask for it ourselves.

I had a truly great experience at Monkey Island Resort. The atmosphere was just what I was looking for - laid-back and relaxed, without any pretense. The bungalow I stayed in, the chimpanzee bungalow, exceeded my expectations with its purple-orange colors, dark wood, and big window door that opened up to a hammock. The basic and clean accommodations were all I needed. And the highlight was the hostel restaurant, offering delicious Thai food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend Monkey Island Resort for those who appreciate a great atmosphere without all the luxury.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming resort close to nature. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and had a nice view. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Monkey Bar in the evening. it was a great experience.

The mosquito net in the room had a few holes.

The staff at the resort were incredibly helpful and kind, making my stay even more enjoyable. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. It was the perfect place for backpackers like myself, who are traveling on a budget. The bungalows were clean and comfortable, providing a great value for the price. I highly recommend this resort and would definitely stay here again.
