What a fantastic hotel! Stayed here for two nights in December and it was perfect for my needs. Being right across the road from the train station was a huge relief after a long journey. The staff were excellent, allowing me to check-in early and taking care of my bag until my departure later in the day. The recently refurbished rooms were comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options. The location was ideal, with supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants all within easy reach. The hotel had a lovely community feel and the entertainment was enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again!

The breakfast room was superb, on par with Hilton Hotels, and the staff were friendly. Despite being an older building, there was a lift, making it convenient for those with heavy luggage. The hotel's central location near shops, pubs, and supermarkets was handy, yet it remained quiet at night.

Central location with quiet surroundings and great amenities. Free parking and strong, reliable Wifi. Recently renovated bathroom with high standards. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Close proximity to transportation, car rental, and supermarket.

Our room at Alexandra was located on the second floor, which added a bit of charm to our stay. Although the lift was out of order, the reception staff kindly offered assistance with our luggage. We loved the fact that the hotel was housed in a beautiful old building, which made our experience unique and memorable. The on-site car parking was convenient and hassle-free. The shower in our room was fantastic, providing a refreshing and enjoyable experience. We were also impressed with the friendly and helpful reception staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, the beer at the hotel was always served cold, a small detail that we appreciated. It's also worth mentioning that Scotland itself was absolutely amazing, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip.
