We had a lovely time at this 4-star hotel. The location was exceptional, offering a stunning view of the lake. The staff were friendly and kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel was well-equipped, with comfortable beds and clean bathroom facilities. The building itself was beautiful, and the kids enjoyed exploring it.

Although the private room with an ensuite was not available as advertised, this did not hinder our enjoyment of the hotel. Despite the minor inconvenience, the hotel's positives outweighed any negatives.

The breakfast is delicious and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. Additionally, the hostel offers a range of facilities, including a lounge with a coffee machine, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The drying room could be improved to accommodate the needs of all guests, especially during the unpredictable Scottish weather.

I had a fantastic stay at this youth hostel! The location is absolutely outstanding, with the most amazing views right on the shores of Loch Lomond. The hostel has a large communal areas and a secluded beach area at the side of the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly want to mention Bartocz, a multiskilled reception worker who gave each guest full attention and managed multiple arrivals with ease. The cleanliness of the hostel was also top-notch, and the facilities were great. Parking was conveniently available right at the door, making it easy to unload and load our luggage. the location, cleanliness, facilities, and friendly staff made this stay truly memorable.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a youth hostel while walking the West Highland Way. The property was surprisingly lovely, with clean and spacious facilities. The lounge was a great place to relax and socialize with other guests, including many families. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The setting of the hostel was absolutely beautiful, with stunning lawns leading down to Loch Lomond. I enjoyed sitting outside and admiring the picturesque views. Despite some minor drawbacks like limited power outlets in the dorm and ordinary showers, I would still highly recommend this hostel for its amazing location, friendly ambiance, and overall value for money. I had a great experience and would definitely return if I pass this way again.

The location of the hostel was amazing, right on the banks of Loch Lomond. The view from our room was breathtaking and we could easily access the West Highland Way for our walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The lounge overlooking the Loch was beautiful and a great place to relax. We also appreciated the option to buy beer from behind the reception.

The hostel is ideally located by the banks of a beautiful loch and it offers stunning views. The lounge area was spacious with plenty of seating options, and the kitchen facilities were good. The hostel also offers a packed lunch service and basic breakfast, which comes in handy if you're planning an early start.

The hostel needs to upgrade its Wi-Fi connectivity as it was slow and variable during my stay, which made it difficult to stay connected. the ventilation in the shower rooms and electric sockets in some rooms need improvement.

The building itself is beautiful, offering a fun place for kids to explore. The staff and guests are incredibly nice and friendly, eager to share their travel experiences and provide off-the-beaten-track recommendations. The huge green space in front of the hostel is great for playing games, and there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The shared bathrooms have enough hot water for everyone, and the hostel offers breakfast sandwiches and lunch bags.

We felt very lucky to have found this hostel, as we had no complaints at all.
