The location of the hotel was perfect for our sons 8th birthday treat, as it was super close to the city center where we needed to be. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and well decorated, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, taking pride and care of the hotel. We also appreciated the private entrance at the back, allowing us to come and go without having to walk through the pub.

That the website description mentioned a continental breakfast brought to the room, but we were informed upon arrival that this was no longer available.

From the moment we arrived at The Glebe, the personal service was outstanding. We stay in hotels every week throughout Europe, many of which are soulless, but Glebe is certainly not. If you want to feel like you are really surrounded by true Liverpudlians, then look no further. My wife and I loved it and would definitely stay here again. The owner could not have done more to make us feel welcome and was more than happy to help with recommendations on what to see and do during our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Glebe! The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had the best night's sleep in a long time. The breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the biscuits that went perfectly with our cup of tea. Terry, the staff member, was amazing. He was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us, even providing us with a taxi number and free entry passes to the cavern. We stayed at The Glebe for our son's 8th birthday trip to see Everton play Wolves. Terry, the owner, went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and in great condition. Our double room for three guests was spacious, and our son loved having his own little bed and access to the large flat-screen smart TV. The powerful shower was clean and refreshing. Terry even recommended places to visit in the area. We had an amazing time and would love to return. Thanks again, Terry!
