Excellent Location and Friendly Staff

The hotel's convenient location near the South Rim of the Grand Canyon made our visit seamless and enjoyable. Although the restaurant had limitations and some room issues, the overall experience was positive and worth recommending to other travellers.

Enjoyed the cozy room at Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel, just a quick drive from the park entrance. Surrounded by nature, it offered a good value stay. The proximity to the canyon made up for the lack of free breakfast. Great spot for families.

The setup of the hotel was cool with our room near the jacuzzi in a separate building, plenty of convenience nearby was dope too. The place is super close to the park and the vibe is chill. 🌿 Loved chilling by the outdoor pool and taking in the tranquil garden area. However, some minor room updates could elevate the whole experience a bit more.

Grand Canyon Plaza offers spacious, comfortable rooms with a relaxing atmosphere. the incredibly friendly staff, like Suzie, is a treasure trove of information for exploring the Grand Canyon. Suzie's detailed insights and insider tips enriched my trip significantly. the mini fridge in the room is sizeable, making it convenient for storing food. the front desk staff was helpful in assisting with various needs. the short drive to the Grand Canyon National Park is super convenient.

Food quality was subpar. No jacuzzi available.

The staff here was genuinely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. They went out of their way to provide us with extra information to enhance our visit to the park. the location turned out to be perfect, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, giving us easy access to everything we needed. the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the shower was very refreshing after a long day of hiking.

One thing that could be improved is the room doors, as they had large gaps that let in cold air from one side and strong chlorine smell from the hot tub on the other. It would be great if the hotel could address this issue to make the rooms more comfortable.

the hotel was clean and close to the park entrance - only a 5 min drive. near the imax theater we got some great tips from the concierge for our grand canyon visit. also, the spa area had a strong chlorine smell.

I always return to this hotel. I lost my car keys once and the staff went above and beyond to help me find them. It has everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. Coming back for Christmas.

The views of the Grand Canyon from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking. I spent hours just sitting and taking in the natural wonder. An unexpected highlight was the portable museum, which provided interesting insights into the history and geology of the area. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

The lack of microwaves in the rooms meant we had to go to the dining area to heat up our food, which was a bit inconvenient.

The Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel's location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the National Geographic Grand Canyon Visitor Center and a quick drive to the Grand Canyon National Park. My room, although a bit dated, provided all the familiar comforts of home, and the option for a balcony added an extra touch.

Some of the staff could use more training in hospitality, especially at the front desk. While the breakfast buffet was average, the quality of the coffee stood out as one of the better cups I've had.

While the room lacked a microwave, pushing us to explore the local eateries, the Wi-Fi situation left us feeling disconnected. The mix-up with room reservations was a rollercoaster, but the manager eventually smoothed things over, turning a frown upside down.

we stayed here to see the sunrise at grand canyon. our room was upgraded and beautiful, with a lovely balcony facing the pool area. the hot tub area was especially nice and very clean. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

amazing location close to the grand canyon. the rooms were clean and fancier than expected. Loved the sinks inside-and-outside the bathroom for my dog. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, allowing extra time for checkout. overall memorable stay! 🐾

The location is amazing, just minutes away from the entrance gate of the south rim. The rooms were clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. I found it convenient to have a laundry room in each building. Despite the thin walls, I was able to enjoy movies with earbuds and sleep peacefully with earplugs. The fact that pets are allowed here might be a plus for some guests. Breakfast was okay and reasonably priced. I had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back.
