We loved the convenient location, close to downtown Monterey and with easy access to a nice mall across the street for shopping. The staff was friendly and took great care of us as low-budget travelers. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. We also appreciated the small coffee pot and mini fridge in the room.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. We were in Monterey for a couple of days and chose this hotel based on its convenient location. The room we had exceeded our expectations - the king size bed was incredibly luxurious and comfortable. The proximity to the freeway made it easy to get around and explore the area. Additionally, being close to downtown meant that we were conveniently located near shops and restaurants. One of the best aspects of our stay was being able to walk to the ocean. It was so nice to have the beach within walking distance, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful views and relax by the water.

There were a few things that we didn't particularly like about our stay. our room was tucked away in a dark corner, which made it feel a bit gloomy.

The bed might have been advertised as a King size, but it felt more like a Queen. The Pack N Play provided for my toddler was dirty and not suitable for use.
