The location of this hotel could not be better for exploring the city. I took a day trip to Milwaukee from Union Station, which was a short walk away. It was ideal for walking to the northern part of the loop, the park along the lake, and the metro. Being a fan of sightseeing, the ability to walk to various landmarks like Cloud Gate, Skydeck Chicago, and Grant Park was perfect for me. the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the shared spaces were great, especially the leisure room.

One thing that could be improved is the noise level in some rooms due to the nearby train tracks. Although my stay was comfortable, I can understand how it might be bothersome to light sleepers.

My recent stay at a hostel in the heart of a bustling American city was quite the adventure! Surrounded by lively music and cultural activities, I felt like a true global citizen. The staff were knowledgeable and the accommodation was eco-friendly. I even got to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast! The best part? The hostel was just a stone's throw away from iconic landmarks. Now, where's the gaming lounge?

The location within the Loop was convenient, and the lounge area was a great spot to socialize. The abundant breakfast was a plus, but the small bathroom with only two shower stalls may be insufficient during peak times. Despite this, the check-in process was smooth, and the private two-room suite was spacious.

The hostel has a prime location in the loop, close to the lake and subway stations, offering various activities like ping pong and pool. the spacious rooms with comfortable bunk beds and clean amenities make for a pleasant stay. However, improvements could be made in terms of responsiveness to guest concerns.

We had a fantastic experience at The Hi Chicago. We received excellent service for our bikes and appreciated the friendly staff who accommodated our frequent check-ins and check-outs. The location was superb, with convenient access to public transportation and top attractions. The suite-style dorm room was clean and comfortable, with nice amenities like blackout blinds and cozy beds. The shared living space added to the enjoyable atmosphere, making our stay memorable.

hi was clean and right in the center of downtown. we could walk to lots of cool places. also, they had a laundry on many floors which was super convenient.

My stay at HI Chicago Hostel was a relaxing experience. The staff were super cool and always willing to help out! The place was always tidy and cozy, making us feel right at home. The activities they had going on were a blast, shout out to Melissa for making it extra fun with those tours and pub crawls! The only little hiccup was a slight mix-up with the room rates, but overall a fantastic stay! 🌟

omg, the phenomenal breakfast spread was to die for! such a good vibe around the hostel, and the staff is super friendly. Only downside is the shared bathroom situation. Highly recommend for a cozy stay in chicago!

The kitchen in our "suite" was bare, nothing at all in the cabinets, not a plate, cup, flatware or pots & pans. But I must say, it was like a fun mystery challenge trying to figure out what to cook with nothing! We ended up having a hilarious cooking session inventing recipes with whatever we could scavenge from the common area.
