Receiving a smaller-than-normal room next to the elevator and overlooking a noisy highway exit. It would be better if the hotel avoided assigning such loud rooms until they became more crowded.

I recently stayed at Howard Johnson in Tifton for 20 days. The room was nicely furnished and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is located in a quiet area, just minutes away from restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, from the warm welcome at check-in to the helpfulness of the cleaning staff. The room was spotless and had a pleasant smell. I especially enjoyed the variety of channels available on the TV, including HBO. I had a cozy and enjoyable stay at Howard Johnson.
