Although we had trouble with the self-parking area, the staff were always helpful and kind. The courtyard was lovely, and we enjoyed the pool and the room amenities. I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach for a few days. The rooms in the Balboa building were spacious and quiet, perfect for a peaceful stay. One of the highlights was the amazing swimming pool area, with three pools to choose from. It was great to see my kids having a blast on the water slide, and we never felt crowded even though the hotel was busy.

We had an amazing value for our money at the hotel. The room was fantastic, especially being right in front of the main pool which was perfect for our family with a 6-year-old. The location was great, close to Fashion Island and many restaurants. The staff were all very nice and the grounds and outdoor areas were beautiful.

The only thing that could have made breakfast choices better was having a wider variety of options.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the mall in Newport, offering plenty of shopping and dining options. The rooms are well-appointed and offer lovely views. The staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant is delicious. the hotel has great facilities including pools, jacuzzis, and a workout room.

One negative aspect about the hotel is the high parking fees.
