The cozy little place had simple charm with clean rooms. The gentleman at the desk was helpful and provided local suggestions. The convenient motorcycle covering and rags were a plus. The town and surrounding area were lovely. The TV, fridge, and microwave in the room were convenient.

The walls were thin, making it easy to hear conversations in the next room. The smaller room had no bathtub, and the shower was super tiny.

what a charming little place. each room has its own unique character with funky furniture. it's priced perfectly and offers a vintage charm that you'll love. surprisingly quiet and safe given its location. great for bikes and close to the Tail of the Dragon. will definitely stay again.

We stayed at Phillips Historic Motel & Cottages for a quick overnight trip and had an amazing experience. Rodger, our host, was delightful and made us feel right at home. He even stored our forgotten items for us until our next visit in November. The community feel and 40s style tourist cabin vibe made our stay nostalgic and charming. Additionally, the rooms were well-equipped and the value for the money was unbeatable. We can't wait to go back!

I recently stayed at the charming Phillips Historic Motel in Robbinsville for a motorcycle tour. The rooms had a cozy Hunter's Lodge feel and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby motorcycle routes such as the Dragon, Moonshiner, and Cherahola Skyway. I appreciated the small touches like the generous amount of body soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower dispenser. Bill, the owner, was exceptionally accommodating and even allowed for an early check-in. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Plus, the motel was within walking distance of two good restaurants.

I was completely blown away by the incredible hunters Lodge look and feel of the rooms. Despite being a big guy at 6'1, the bed and bathroom could have been bigger, but that didn't stop my pleasant stay. The staff was beyond super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again, especially because of the super convenient location for motorcycle tours. The Dragon, Moonshiner, and the Cherahola Skyway were all just a short distance away. The cleanliness and safety of the motel were top-notch, and the room had an informative plaque with handy tips for the TV and Wi-Fi. Parking was not a problem at all, and they even had covered parking for motorcycles. I loved having an extension cord for my devices, and the quiet ceiling fan was mind-blowingly nice. The outdoor seating made up for the lack of indoor seating, and the owner's delightful personality added to the wonderful atmosphere. Plus, they're in the process of refurbishing the place, which just adds to its charm. While it might not be a 5-star hotel, it definitely deserves a jaw-dropping 4-star rating for everything we were looking for.

The location near the motorcycling area is convenient. The owners are friendly and keep the area clean. Most places in town are within walking distance. The room had a comfortable king size bed and a nice touch with a 12-cup coffee pot and real coffee. The room was spacious with a full kitchen and covered carport. The shower had bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner available. The host, Rodger, was delightful and provided great recommendations. A forgetful moment resulted in my pillow and blanket being stored for retrieval. a pleasant stay.

Had a great romantic getaway. The owner was very accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The hotel had two fire pits and two carports reserved for motorcycles, which was convenient for the bikers visiting the area. The location was central to all the excellent riding roads and local shops, making it easy to explore the area.

The room was a bit small and had some defects in the walls and furniture, giving it a slightly dilapidated look. there were a few cleanliness issues, such as curious stains on the chair and an odd powder on the table.
