The value for the money was great - clean rooms, good amenities, and spacious. The hotel's location was convenient for UCLA and there were plenty of nearby restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The menu for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

The neighborhood was beautiful and we loved our stay at Royal Palace Westwood. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was nice. Our kids especially enjoyed the automatic pancake machine! The hotel has been recently upgraded, with refurbished rooms and public spaces. The desk clerk was extremely helpful in arranging a cab for us, and the location was perfect for our activities at UCLA.

I chose this hotel due to the proximity to a medical facility I was visiting. Don't be deceived by the modest outside, the rooms were very spacious and clean. Bathroom was spotless, beds were comfortable. Our room was by the elevator, but we didn't even hear it. The room had a small area with a microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge and mini sink. It also had a dining area with a table and four chairs. The outside view was to a wonderful little garden that belongs to a fancier hotel next door, so you get the view without the price tag. Breakfast is sort of grab and go, it does the job if needed. Hotel is located next to many food options in walking distance breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also there is a grocery store and convenience store 5-7 min away by foot. We chose to mainly travel by bus, the bus stations were really close to the hotel too and it saved us a lot. I felt safe in this area and we walked at different times of night and day. Overall I would choose this hotel if I travel to this area again.

The hotel was walking distance to our destination and had clean and comfortable rooms. The free parking was a bonus, despite the narrow stalls. The safe neighborhood had plenty of amenities nearby, including many restaurants. The mini kitchen was a great addition and the hotel and neighborhood were very quiet.

There was absolutely nothing to like about this hotel. The only positive thing I can say is that it's close to some restaurants and retail stores. But even that couldn't make up for the overall awfulness of this place. I would never, ever stay here again, and I highly advise against it. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay.

The room was clean and spacious, and we loved the convenience of having a fridge and microwave. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The free parking was a bonus, and the staff even took care of parking our car when spaces were tight. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was large, spacious, and clean, with all the facilities I needed. The bed was really comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The hotel's location in a great neighborhood made it easy for me to explore and wander around. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including Target and Trader Joe's, just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's proximity to UCLA David Geffen made it convenient for me to attend events there.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently stayed at Royal Palace Westwood for one night and was pleasantly surprised. The prime location was perfect for my needs, and although the hotel itself was a bit dated, my room was updated and had everything I needed, including a microwave, refrigerator. The room was very clean and the staff was pleasant. I had a very comfortable overnight stay and would definitely stay again.

Convenient location for LAX and Magic Mountain. Check-in staff not very engaged, but later staff at front desk were fine. Pancake machine at breakfast is nice. Room had plenty of space. Good value for money.
