Pool has comfortable seating, convenience store next door. Bed offers great ocean view from room 28 on second floor. Channel list and shower head are a plus. Beds are clean and comfortable with extra pillows. Pool is enjoyable at night and in a convenient location.

We loved the location of this hotel as it was right across from the beach and the ocean, making it very convenient for us to access the water and enjoy the beautiful views. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel impressed us, with the rooms being clean and the beds being comfortable. The hotel facilities, such as the pool area and the chairs outside the room, provided us with a pleasant and relaxing experience.

The location of this motel is incredibly convenient, with close proximity to everything. It is located right across the street from the beach, so you can easily access the ocean. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, which adds to the convenience. The rooms are cozy and clean, with a really nice pool area.

Some areas of the motel are in need of refurbishment, and the maintenance needs could be improved.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! It is right across the road from the beach and within walking distance to everything around. Additionally, there is a convenience store nearby for any last-minute needs.

This hotel is a great value for money with its convenient location directly across from the beach. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very clean. We appreciated the attention to detail with plenty of pillows and basic amenities provided. The breakfast offered a good variety of options.

The convenience of the motel was excellent - easy parking and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The motel room was clean and had a microwave for convenience. The location was exceptional, with a phenomenal view as a bonus. The staff were kind and welcoming, always ready to assist. I would happily go back for another visit.

Great location: The hotel was conveniently located close to downtown, making it easy to explore the area. Comfortable bed and clean room: The room we stayed in was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Hot showers with good water pressure: The showers had plenty of hot water and great water pressure, making for a refreshing experience. Close to the beach: We were able to easily walk across the street to the beach, and it was lovely to hear the sound of the ocean at night. Fantastic view: Although our room didn't have a view, the close proximity to the beach meant that we could still enjoy the beautiful views.

Smelly and wet room: Unfortunately, the room had a musty smell and the floor felt wet, which was not pleasant. Outdated bathroom and worn toilet seat: The bathroom could use some updating and the toilet seat was worn.

The location couldn't be any better - right across from the beach and in the center of everything. It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the attractions. The hotel also has its own deli and convenient store, which made it easy to grab snacks and drinks. The staff were friendly and the pool was especially warm this year.

The rooms could definitely use some updating. They had a very 1970s feel and the smell was a bit off-putting.

We had a fantastic time at Sands By The Sea Motel. The location was perfect, just a block away from all the shops and restaurants in downtown York Beach. It was so convenient to be able to walk everywhere. The beach was also right across the street, which made it easy to spend our days by the water.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as the slightly outdated rooms and the noise from the beach grooming tractors in the early morning, these were minor compared to the overall enjoyable experience we had at Sands By The Sea Motel.

The pool was a great place to relax and have fun after a long day exploring. The warm temperature of the pool made it even more enjoyable, especially when we stayed late into the night. The location of the motel was also perfect, with the beach just a short walk away.
