The one bedroom apartment was clean, spacious, and had a fantastic view of Lake Wallenpaupack. The location was scenic and perfect for taking walks. We were pleased to find a good restaurant, Gresham’s chophouse, nearby. The outdoor pool was still open in late September, allowing us to swim on a nice day.

Fantastic location for boaters with free dock access and nearby boat rentals. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. Beautiful lake view. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and large refrigerator. Easy and pleasant check-in and check-out process. Plenty of parking available.

The staff, particularly Lisa and Diane at the front desk, were amazing and provided excellent customer service. We also enjoyed the indoor sports complex, which was a short distance away but definitely worth the visit. we highly recommend this hotel, especially for big groups and skiing families, as it is conveniently located near various skiing resorts.

We loved the view of the lake from our room and the sliding doors that allowed us to enjoy the patio. The room exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness, including a separate bedroom and a pull-out couch. The kitchen and bathroom were also a nice addition. The balcony offered a gorgeous view of the lake. The location was ideal, as it was close to the lake, quality golf courses, and good restaurants. We enjoyed the fall foliage and took short walks around the area. We even had the opportunity to visit antique/flea markets. no complaints about Tanglewood at all!

Our family recently visited a resort in the Northeast Pennsylvania area that offered a peaceful location next to a beautiful lake with a walking trail.
