We stayed at Wingate for a weekend getaway to the casino. The staff was accommodating and the shuttle service was convenient. The highlight was definitely the delicious waffles served for breakfast.

The recently renovated Database Room had a modern look and a comfortable bed. The room was clean, quiet, and perfectly situated for my work south of Lake Charles. The AC worked fine, and the breakfast was hot, delicious, and had a great selection. The staff was very friendly, and there's a fine steak restaurant called Harlequin Steaks nearby. The sitting area in the room provided two comfy chairs to relax and watch TV or have a chat.

We recently stayed at the Wingate in Lake Charles for a weekend getaway. The King suite had a great floor plan, with a semi separate bedroom that provided extra privacy. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the cleanliness was well maintained throughout. The room was clean and comfortable, and the added bonus of a dining area and sink made it perfect for longer stays.

Despite a few minor setbacks, I would still highly recommend this hotel.
