during my stay, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the cleanliness and comfort of the room made it easy to relax after long walks through the bustling nearby attractions like the iconic Obelisco, just a short 10-minute stroll away, and the beautiful Tribunales Plaza, less than a 5-minute walk, where I enjoyed some peaceful moments in the park.

Spacious room, friendly staff, just steps from a beautiful park and Teatro Colon, with convenient access to cafes that serve delicious breakfast options.

The rooms really need soundproofing!!! It'd be great if the hotel would consider modernizing their bedding and towels!!! A little upkeep on the furniture would go a long way since some pieces are showing signs of wear!!!

this hotel is an absolute disgrace, really. the taxi service they provided was a complete joke, no air conditioning and a driver who couldn't even bother to quit smoking, gross! they also can't replace basic items like towels or shower gel. i almost gave a good review, but the management's total lack of concern ruined it for me.

staying at up viamonte was fantastic! it’s just steps away from the teatro colon and tons of shops and restaurants. the staff, especially the desk manager rueben, was super helpful and friendly. our room was spacious, with comfortable beds and an awesome shower. it really felt like home when we returned after a trip to uruguay.
