The beds had more springs than a kangaroo's step class. My mate and I felt like we were wrestling a slinky all night. But the cottage's view was a knockout – vineyards as far as the eye can see. Our hosts even left us a bottle of local red, which we enjoyed on the balcony. If only the beds had been as smooth as the Shiraz. Would still go back for the view and wine, mate!

Felt at home, nothing to complain about.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I was absolutely impressed by the beautiful setting and the fantastic service provided by the staff. the outdoor dining area was a perfect spot to enjoy the delicious breakfasts made from beautiful local products. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone heading to the Vale. the hotel is within walking distance of the main street and several restaurants, pubs, and cellar doors. the rural outlook over paddocks was breathtaking, and I could imagine how fantastic it would be to hang out in the slightly warmer weather. the air-conditioning service was well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Recently stayed at Terra Firma in McLaren Vale for a romantic weekend getaway. the log cabin setting amidst vineyards was stunning, with a perfect view. the hosts were fantastic, offering a local wine and the best mulberry yoghurt mix-in. Walking distance to the Main Street and a short drive to wineries. The peaceful stone cottage was an excellent hideaway with lovely touches. Cons: Strongly recommend this hotel.

The stone cottage was a peaceful haven with lovely touches for my partner's birthday. The log cabin's vineyard view was stunning, and the hosts were wonderful. Only downside: uncomfortable mattresses spoiled an otherwise perfect experience. Would return in a heartbeat for the beautiful location and thoughtful details.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was cozy with a beautiful view. the location was convenient for exploring nearby wineries and the staff were incredibly accommodating.

Breakfast selection could have more variety for a fuller experience.

The Terra Firma cottage at McLaren Vale was absolutely charming. The rustic feel and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect getaway. The well-equipped kitchen and gas log fire were great additions. The bed in the loft bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The continental breakfast provided was a nice touch. The deck area overlooking the beautiful rural outlook was a highlight. The proximity to shops, eateries, and wineries was excellent. I would definitely return to Terra Firma Mclaren Vale Bed & Breakfast. I highly recommend this lovely cottage.

The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and a cozy sitting area. The outdoor terrace and dining area provided the perfect setting to enjoy our complimentary breakfast and take in the scenic surroundings. The free Wi-Fi was a convenient feature, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.

We stayed during Xmas and the toiletries were great quality, and the bed was very comfortable. the location is also convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

The lack of air conditioning made for an uncomfortably hot stay, especially during the night.

The location of this rustic B&B is ideal - close to many amazing wineries and just a short walk from the town center. The cottage offers beautiful views of the vineyards and has a spacious verandah, perfect for enjoying a BBQ. The hosts are friendly and helpful, providing plenty of breakfast supplies and a lovely bottle of wine.

The Wi-Fi connection is not strong and requires going outside on the verandah to get a signal.
