My recent stay at Walnut Cottage in Angaston was delightful. the cottage had a cozy atmosphere and was well-equipped with thoughtful touches like breakfast supplies, chocolates, and board games. the location was convenient, allowing for easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. the only downside was the lack of firewood for the open fire, but overall, it was a wonderful experience.

stayed in angaston before but walnut cottage surpassed expectations this summer. breakfast supplies were generous, locally sourced, and thoughtful. perfect location, quiet yet close to amenities, like a home from home with modern comforts.

Stayed at a place with a museum vibe, had modern comforts. Generous breakfast supplies, chocolates, cookies, and port were a nice touch. Loved the open fire for cozy nights. the air-con was a champ. Finally did laundry after 6 weeks!

Oh, how I enjoyed the thrill of sweeping dust off the verandah and brushing webs off the outdoor furniture. Such a highlight!

this cottage is a gem. super clean - located close to wineries, and filled with thoughtful touches. being within walking distance to the town's main attractions is a big plus. the breakfast basket with all the fixings and a variety of beverages makes mornings a delight.

The room at Walnut Cottage felt like a cozy hideaway with its vintage claw foot bathtub and separate shower. As a backpacker craving comfort, the quaint touches and homely atmosphere made me feel relaxed and content.

We were impressed with the thoughtfulness of having Christmas decorations up in the living room, setting a perfect holiday mood. the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals with fresh produce from the nearby markets. the location was perfect for us, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We also appreciated being able to park our car just outside the cottage. the comfortable beds were a plus and made our stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of free Wi-Fi, which made it challenging to stay connected to family and friends during the holidays. However, this did not diminish our overall experience as we were happy to disconnect and enjoy each other's company in the charming ambiance of the cottage.
