Great Location and Comfortable Stay

I had a pleasant experience, enjoying the convenient location and clean room, which provided a comfortable bed and excellent shower pressure. the staff were very helpful, accommodating our late check-in with a warm welcome. the noise from the nearby main road was a bit disruptive at times, so light sleepers might want to prepare for that.

This hotel is in a great location just off the main street, making it a handy stop for travelers. the room was clean, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being near a busy road. the staff was friendly, and the basic amenities met my needs perfectly.

Seriously, everything we needed was so close—like the Big Banana, the stadium, restaurants, Kmart. If you’re traveling with kids, that convenience is a lifesaver! Now let me get into the nitty-gritty. Our room was pretty decent and had this comfy bed, which was a plus after a long day out. The air conditioning worked without a hitch, and the wifi was solid too, which kept the kids entertained while we settled in. I really liked that there were plenty of outlets for charging devices too. The bathroom also had good pressure on the hot water shower, which was refreshing! there were definitely a few things that could use some improvement. For one, there was no laundromat on-site—only a short drive away, but still inconvenient if you’re in need. I could tell that the room wasn’t serviced during our visit, which meant I had to pop to the office for more toilet paper. And like, who wants to have to do that during a family trip? Another small thing—there were just two pillows on each bed, and they were too high for my liking; woke up with a bit of a sore neck from that. I also wish they had some more blankets available, especially since we were there during a slightly chilly season. The noise from the traffic was a bit much sometimes. I'm cool with a bit of background sound, but if you’re a light sleeper, it might be distracting—especially since we were there on Christmas Eve, and I guess that added to the hustle and bustle. Honestly, I was lucky it didn’t bother me too much, but still, just a heads up for those who might need peace and quiet. I did notice the mattress could use a bit of an upgrade. I mean, it wasn’t the worst I’ve experienced, but I definitely wouldn’t have complained if it were more comfortable. Some of the furniture also felt a little outdated, and the fridge didn’t feel particularly clean.

The friendly manager made it feel so welcoming. I’d DEFINITELY return, even if the room wasn't as clean as I hoped!

While the motel's location near the Pacific Highway brings a lot of noise and some basic amenities, it surprisingly offered clean sheets and a friendly staff. The absence of a maintained pool and some maintenance issues were disappointing, but it served well for a one-night stopover.

we stayed in a room that had convenient access to the nearby attraction, the big banana, which was perfect for our plans. the bedding was fresh and clean, giving us some comfort. however, the room itself felt quite cramped with two double beds and lacked character, making it seem somewhat dull. despite the challenges of the layout, it was easy to locate and had a satisfactory level of cleanliness overall.

I parked my slightly-too-big car and found the place easy to spot right off the highway. the room was clean, and the bed felt like a cloud after my long drive. I did have some fun trying to figure out the mystery of the running toilet and the aircon that seemed to be auditioning for a horror movie. It was a cozy spot for a Belgian traveler like me, keen to explore but wishing for a bit more peace and quiet.
