This hotel is located right on the water, with a beautiful view of the beach. You can't beat the convenience of being able to step outside and immediately be at the beach. The rooms with private bathrooms are a great option, with a nice balcony overlooking the water. Plus, having breakfast included is a nice bonus.

Amazing atmosphere and stunning ocean views from our room. Facilities were excellent, especially the pool and kitchen. The staff, particularly Dan and Kelly, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel, right next to the beautiful beach on Magnetic Island. The convenience of having the bus station nearby made exploring the island a breeze. Additionally, there was a local supermarket within walking distance, making it easy to grab any essentials we needed. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a comfortable stay.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, as it is right next to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, there is a supermarket conveniently located nearby, so guests can easily access any necessities they may need during their stay.

It is unfortunate that some guests have had issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel. In some instances, there were squeaky beds in the rooms, which can be quite bothersome, especially in a party hostel where people may be returning late at night.

During our city break, we had an amazing time at a hostel located on the beachfront. the location was perfect as it was just a short bus ride away from everything, making it easy for us to explore the island. We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the beach. We also appreciated the free welcome cocktail and cheap breakfast.

The bedrooms were cramped and the beds, especially the top bunks, didn't feel very sturdy. the showers and toilets felt unclean and needed some attention.

The bar area was vibrant and social, with nightly events that allowed us to meet new people and have a great time. The restaurant served delicious food and the service was quick. It felt like we were staying at a resort. The hostel was also conveniently located, with a bus stop right outside, making it easy to explore the island. We could easily walk to the beach and there were nice benches and bean bags by the sea where we could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel facilities were great, including a clean pool that was perfect for a refreshing swim. this was one of the best hostels we have stayed at.

We had a fantastic stay at Base in Magnetic Island! the location is perfect, just a short distance from the Townsville-Magnetic ferry, making it easily accessible. the hostel has a great ambiance, with plenty of entertainment options. Despite being a couple in our thirties, we still enjoyed the lively atmosphere without any disturbance at night. the accommodation itself is picturesque, offering beautiful sea views. We found it to be excellent value for money, with affordable prices for both food and drinks. the common areas were also very well-maintained and enjoyable to use.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊
