The staff at this hotel were so lovely and accommodating. From the moment we arrived, they were wonderful, friendly, and very obliging. the in-room breakfast we ordered was done to perfection and delivered on time by the chef in his crisp white apron, making our stay really enjoyable. the location was perfect, on the main road but the rooms are at the back, so you can't hear the traffic. the hotel garden area was fine, a little far from the CBD, but not a problem for us. the hotel is close to shops and a local bistro nearby.

If I had to mention something, the decor was slightly dated in our room. it was still cozy and clean, so it didn't bother us much.

The staff were super friendly and the room was incredibly clean with an awesome shower- I'm all about that good water pressure in a motel! the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the location was spot-on, not noisy at all despite being on the main road. They even had a lovely garden area to chill out in. Just a heads up, there were a few dust bunnies and cobwebs in hidden spots, but overall, it didn't ruin my happy vibes 😊.

Golden is a well-maintained gem in Bendigo, offering great value for money.

The breakfast was delivered perfectly on time and was so fresh! the rooms felt really cozy and homely. the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Would DEFINITELY go back! the garden area was even better in person. Can't wait to return!

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, felt like resting on a cloud. the heater worked like a charm, cosier than a warm hug. the pillow was so plush, like resting my head on a marshmallow. The small details like the milk in bottles made it feel like luxury. Cons: Key was a bit stiff.

We had a fab stay in bendigo! amazing room - so clean & spacious. Breakfast by phillip 👌🍳. Only drawback: a bit far from city center. Lovely staff & comfy bed. Will come back! 😊

The hotel also provides a bucket of water to wash off frost from car windows.

Our romantic escape was made perfect by the lovely large rooms that were impeccably clean and comfortable. the hot shower was invigorating and the bed was cozy and comfortable. the location was excellent, right on the main road and noise did not disturb us. We enjoyed the friendly service of the staff. we had an amazing stay.

The entire experience was fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.
