Great stay at Black Forest Motel. The family room was spacious and perfect for our group of 5. The beds were comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. We loved the easy check-in process and the helpfulness of John, who recommended great places for dinner. The location was convenient, with easy access to town. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was remarkable, from the thoughtful bathroom rails, making it accessible for all, to the well-equipped kitchen where breakfast was included in the rate. Secondly, the staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Finally, the location, nestled in the forest just off the Calder Hwy, provided a serene and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a getaway.

All was fine, no complaints whatsoever.

Clean room, except for microwave. No staff interaction, just email check-in. Suitable for needs, great shower. Lovely communal kitchen, gradually refurbished rooms. Simple facilities, everything you need. Good TV reception. Some rooms have weak wifi, but they can move you. Comfy queen bed with extra pillows. Hard single bed. Coffee not great, bring your own tea. Pleasant stay, close to wineries. Friendly office staff, thanks to John. Friendly and funny cleaning. Peaceful with beautiful gardens. Sad to leave.

We had a great time staying at this budget motel. The location was perfect, with several good restaurants just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a large shower. The service provided by the staff was outstanding, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The included breakfast options in the guest kitchen were a great bonus.

The motel could benefit from some updates, particularly with regards to the carpeting.

We had a lovely romantic escape in this cozy motel. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a microwave and a clean and well-stocked bathroom. The manager was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The motel is conveniently located close to a train station and a small town with great food and music. We enjoyed sitting outside in the bbq area, which was a real plus. But the best aspect of our stay was the exceptional service.

The room was a bit dated, but still very comfortable. We also found the price to be a bit on the higher side, but it was worth it for the location and service.
