We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of the rooms and shared bathrooms was top-notch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for free parking and even allowing us to use the shower facilities after we checked out. The location was amazing, with beautiful views from the terrace and a partnership with a city center hostel for convenient luggage storage. the hotel facilities, staff, and location were all excellent.

Stayed at a great hostel near Bondi Beach, loved the modern & clean rooms with comfy beds and convenient charge points. The hostel provided free surfboard hire and lockers. The kitchen had plenty of fridges, stove tops, and sinks. The staff was friendly and there were lots of nightly activities to enjoy. 10/10!

this hostel was a gem! after my previous stay in sydney, i wasn't expecting much, but wake up! bondi beach blew me away. everything was new and clean, with comfy beds and a stunning rooftop terrace. the location couldn't be better, right on the bustling bondi strip and facing the beach.

kitchen needs improvement

I recently stayed at Wake Up! in Bondi Beach for 3 nights with a group of friends. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the WiFi worked flawlessly throughout the entire hostel. Despite the small kitchen, I had no issues cooking meals, which was a refreshing change from other hostels in the area. The location was perfect, offering amazing views of the surf from the reception area, and the spacious and clean rooms made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and always available to provide recommendations and answer any questions. The free surfboard hire, morning yoga, and wine and cheese nights were fantastic additions to our stay, and overall the hostel had a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely return.

This hostel has it all! Cash deposit for rentals, communal spaces, friendly staff, and a great kitchen. Plenty of fridges, stove tops, and sinks. Plus, nightly activities for entertainment.

Nothing for me

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to offer recommendations or help with any issues. the rooftop was a great feature, with amazing views and a nice spot to relax or socialize.

The kitchen was always overcrowded and too small for the number of guests, making it difficult to prepare meals. I felt that the hotel lacked a fun and vibrant atmosphere, with the common areas being a bit dull and lacking in social activities.

My stay at Wake Up! Bondi Beach was phenomenal. As a first-time hostel goer, I was initially hesitant about leaving home and family, but the welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere quickly put me at ease. The location, right in front of Bondi Beach, was absolutely perfect. I could easily access the beach multiple times a day, thanks to the convenient showers and facilities. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and I never expected a hostel mattress to be that soft. The hostel even offered free yoga classes, which I absolutely loved. my experience at Wake Up! Bondi Beach made me feel like I wanted to work there in the future. Remember my name, James Sansoni!

The value for money was great, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location right opposite Bondi beach was amazing. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my entire stay.

we had an incredible stay at wake up! bondi beach. the location was perfect, just across from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and always willing to help with a smile. the facilities were great with stunning rooftop views and clean rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. the hostel had a great vibe, perfect for socializing and enjoying indoor and outdoor activities. the kitchen was well-equipped and there was plenty of storage. the place felt safe and provided free surfboards and pancakes, as well as nice activities for guests. the free wifi was a bonus, especially in the dorm. we loved the rooftop terrace too.
