stayed in byron bay before but this time surf house blew me away! perfect location, close to beach and shops. modern, clean, and equipped. definitely great value!

We loved the overall vibe - the rooftop bar was welcoming and safe, and the piano bar had friendly staff and great music. The hotel was clean, with clean washrooms and kitchen. The beds were comfortable and well-equipped with outlets. The kitchen and common room were spacious and well-equipped. Free surf board rental was included.

The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms could have been improved. the floors were dirty and the bathrooms were not well-maintained.

I recently stayed at The Surf House for a week-long beach getaway. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars, yet far enough away to avoid any noise. The facilities were fantastic, including a movie room and a spacious kitchen equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. I particularly loved the happy hour each evening, which was a great bonus for someone on a budget. The Surf House had a great vibe and provided a comfortable and convenient experience.

The best hostel I've ever stayed at! the location was amazing, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and bars. the spacious kitchen and dining areas were fantastic - there was always plenty of space to relax and cook. the rooftop bar was a real highlight, with a great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. Plus, the free yoga classes every other day were a wonderful bonus. great value for money and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The shared bathrooms could have been cleaner and cooler. It would have been nice if they were cleaned twice a day, especially when the hostel was full.

We had a great weekend at this hotel. The location was absolutely fantastic as we were able to easily walk to all the places we wanted to visit. The hotel had a lot to offer and there was always something going on, which was a lot of fun. We particularly enjoyed the large balconies in the private rooms, where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.

There were a couple of things that could have been better. the rooms did not have air conditioning and it got incredibly hot, especially during the summer.
