I had the most peaceful and private stay in this venue. It was the perfect getaway from the usual hustle and bustle of a touristy destination. The location was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding areas including the river, the beach at Byron Bay, and the beautiful fields on the property. The service here was top-notch, with room service, laundry facilities, and tours/ticket assistance available. The room amenities were impressive, with everything I needed from ironing facilities to a comfortable sitting area. I especially loved the terrace and patio where I could relax and enjoy the stunning views. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great addition, keeping me connected throughout my stay.

The property itself is surrounded by picturesque fields and even has a creek where you can relax. The villas are well-appointed with comfortable beds and stunning views of the countryside.

The spare fold-out couch in the villa was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

While the nearby town has a general store with a quaint café, the location is slightly isolated and a car is recommended for exploring the area. There have been reports of dog attacks on the property and the owners seem to blame others instead of taking responsibility.

One highlight was the spa bath, which allowed us to indulge in pure relaxation while admiring the breathtaking view of the rolling hills. Although we were away from the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay, the coast was still easily accessible with a short 25-minute drive. We loved taking our pet dog for walks down to the river and exploring the stunning hiking trails nearby. Suzanne, our host, was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this idyllic retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in the Byron Hinterland.
