We stayed at the Plaza Hotel overnight to enjoy a celebratory dinner in the city without the risk of drink-driving. The location is conveniently central with plenty of nearby eating places, markets, and entertainment. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had their own balconies, allowing us to enjoy fresh air. The hotel was clean, fresh, and modern, with a nice view of the Esplanade.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the beautiful Cairns Esplanade and its stunning views. We were also delighted to find that our oceanfront suite had been recently renovated and was very well-appointed. The room was comfortable, and the balcony provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

One major downside of our stay was the subpar soundproofing in the room. We could hear noises from outside, including car doors closing, which was quite disruptive.

Staff were welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage and informing us of our early check-in. the spacious and comfortable room surpassed our expectations for the price. the hotel's convenient location near the boardwalk and dining options enriched our overall experience. the 24-hour reception was helpful and the complimentary laundry service was a nice touch.

The hotel's entry lacked a covered area, which posed a minor inconvenience during the rainy weather. the bathroom was somewhat small with awkward door placement, but the shower made up for it.

This hotel offers great value for money with reasonable prices and basic amenities. The rooms are equipped with super comfy beds and also have a microwave/fridge for convenience. I especially loved the balcony overlooking the Esplanade which provided a stunning view of the ocean front.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Cairns Plaza. The ocean view from my room was absolutely stunning and waking up to the sunrise was a memorable experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed and a well-stocked bathroom. The hotel's location was perfect, close to attractions but away from the noise. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Malcolm who assisted me with my reservation. I would highly recommend this hotel.

One small downside was that the exhaust from the air conditioning unit blew hot air onto the balcony. Additionally, there was occasional smoking below the balcony, which was a bit bothersome.
