We had a fantastic stay at Castaways Resort & Spa. The location was perfect, right on the beach and just a short walk to the main restaurant and shopping area. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with views of the ocean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary continental breakfast was above and beyond, with a delicious selection of pastries, fruits, cereals. We can't wait to come back and explore the beautiful Mission Beach area for a longer stay.

The ground floor room we were moved to had a spacious layout and a great beachfront view.

Great view, lovely staff, comfy bed. Beautiful rainforest rooms, delicious breakfast, awesome deck chairs. Excellent location, top quality food. Staff tries to accommodate, offered free wine for room mix-up.

The hotel was well equipped, with a shared laundry room and spacious rooms. the location was great, as it was only a short walk away from the town with various restaurants. the hotel had its own pool and was located just a few steps from a safe to swim beach.

The main downside was that we had to walk along the street to get to the main part of the resort from our rooms. a beach shower near the walkway and pool would have been handy to rinse sand off our feet.

I recently stayed in a second-class accommodation near the stinger net and it was a great choice. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous, just a short walk to the beach and close to town. The small pool in the Rainforest room area doesn't compare to the main building's pool, but it was still refreshing. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of facilities to enjoy.

The bathroom in the second-class accommodation could use some updating.
