The resort boasts great facilities such as two separate swimming pools and private access to Maroochydore's pristine beach, which was ideal for unwinding after a long day of work. the heated spa and sauna provided a relaxing retreat, and the covered BBQ area was perfect for enjoying a leisurely evening. the location near local hospitality was convenient, and the room itself was quite comfortable.

In terms of minor drawbacks, one aspect that stood out was that Tower 2 seemed to be in poor condition, with a noticeable smell in the corridors and dirty carpets.

the location was within walking distance to the beach and surf club, offering stunning views over the ocean and river. the staff was helpful and friendly, ensuring our check, in process was smooth and hassle, free. the room was clean, and the amenities provided were perfect for our needs. the large balcony with a great view was a highlight, and the full, size fridge in the kitchen was convenient. We enjoyed the secure parking and the generous supply of crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils.

Although our overall experience was pleasant, a couple of improvements could be made. the balcony was rather small for a 3, bedroom apartment, limiting outdoor space.

We partied hard at the pool bar and danced all night at the beach club. It was epic!

Just wished they had a better selection of snacks available at the late-night pool parties. That would take the vibe to the next level!

Love the central location with plenty of cafes, shopping, and restaurants within walking distance. Great access to both buildings, perfect for families or friends going out at nights.

Great facilities with comfortable and clean apartments. the apartment had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay including a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. the pool was amazing and perfect for the kids. the location was perfect with just a short walk to nearby shops, food places, and the beach - making it an ideal spot for a family holiday.

Smoking was permitted on balconies which made it hard for non-smokers to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. It's sad to pay a high tariff for a full-service resort and not be able to enjoy the open space without being covered in cigarette smoke.

The apartment at Catalina Resort was incredibly spacious and perfect for our family. We loved that it was just a short walk to the beach and that we had access to a tennis court, spa, and swimming pool. The ocean view from our level 7 apartment was breathtaking. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also very convenient. The underground parking made it easy for us to come and go. we really enjoyed our time here.

During our stay, there was a stormy weather and we had to bring in the outdoor furniture as it was about to take off. Additionally, we found a couple of dirty wet towels in the bottom of the showers when we arrived.
