The staff were excellent; efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable of surrounding areas and activities. They provided great recommendations for places to visit in Mackay. the room had a great view of the harbour and was very nice, equipped with almost everything we needed for our 5-night stay. the food at the restaurant was very good, and there were nearby bars and eateries for alternative dining options. the location was beautiful, overlooking the harbour and boats, with plenty of nearby restaurants and clubs. the hotel is perfectly settled next to the Mackay Marina with a fabulous walking track offering fantastic views.

One thing that could be improved is that the room felt a bit dated compared to the photos advertised. the showerhead was not completely functional, and the water views were minimal, mostly looking out over an unappealing service car park.

I truly appreciated the cozy lobby with its elegant décor that made me feel like I was in a luxurious seaside retreat. the easy access to all areas of the hotel, with spacious hallways and comfortable seating, made it very friendly for us seniors to navigate and relax between outings.

Having enjoyed a spacious and immaculate room, with a magnificent view over the Marina, I appreciated the friendly breakfast staff and the delectable meals offered. the hotel's facilities, including free laundry on my floor, were convenient as well. the location was ideal, with restaurants and cafes within a short walk, making dining options easily accessible.

The view from our room was exceptional, overlooking the marina and Coral Sea. The modern decor and cleanliness of the room were impressive. We enjoyed a delicious and reasonably priced dinner at the restaurant downstairs. The buffet breakfast included with our room was a great bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet and enjoyable stay.

view from room was exceptional, large areas, 2 air conditioners balanced well. efficient and friendly staff, great view of harbour. beautiful food, excellent wifi, highly recommend. mantra exceeded my expectations in decent comfort, staff were knowledgeable and service was spot on.

We had a fantastic stay in a room that was spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for us. We were able to walk to the sandy beach and explore the marina, where there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. The room had all the facilities we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. It felt like a home away from home, and we would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break in a tourist destination like Mackay.

The check-in time was a bit inflexible, which was inconvenient for us as we had a family wedding to attend.
