The staff at this motel were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. the location of the motel was also perfect, with everything within walking distance. Another advantage was the delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast that satisfied my taste buds before our drive to Townsville.

There were a few drawbacks during our stay. the bed in our room kept rolling across the room whenever we sat on it, but the staff did resolve this issue promptly.

Our room at the Country Motor Inn had a lovely kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a full-sized fridge, and a microwave. It was so convenient to have these amenities available during our stay. Additionally, the room was clean and tidy, offering good value for the price we paid. We also appreciated the balcony, which allowed for smoking without disturbing other guests, and it had a nice view. The motel's location was great, with a supermarket and other hotels nearby for meals.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks to our stay. when my wife asked if the motel had a hairdryer, she was told that it had been taken by someone.

I was disappointed that there wasn't a bedside table with a reading lamp on each side of the double bed. the bathroom was a bit dated, although it was clean and functional.
