I had an unforgettable stay at Cockatoo Cottages in Cockatoo. the location was superb for exploring Yarra Valley and Dandenongs. the cottage was stunning, the breakfast delicious, and the host, Ryleigh, was exceptional. Minor issue with DVD player. a dreamy getaway. Highly recommend!

The queen size bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the spa bath with a view was pure luxury. As a disabled traveler, the thoughtful provisions and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home.

Base yourself in a serene area, central to most villages, yet far enough off the beaten track to be relaxing. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to pat Highland cattle. The comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen will make for a pleasant stay. The breakfast supplies are of good quality and have a wide range of options.

The spa bath and shower could use improvement for a more enjoyable experience.

My partner and I recently stayed at a beautiful cottage surrounded by bushland and wildlife. The attention to detail was impeccable, from providing vegan-friendly food to stocking up the wood fire and turning on the air con before our arrival. The spa bath was a luxurious touch, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We even had the pleasure of seeing kangaroos and friendly highland cows during our stay. we had a magical experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a special getaway.

Spacious living area with stunning view of the meadow was impressive. the air conditioning was a life saver as the temperature reached 43 degrees c on Xmas day. the location was perfect, providing a good starting point for exploring the area.

Cleanliness left much to be desired. the milk in the fridge was out of date, and there was evidence of unattended insects.
