Beautiful location with excellent bistro food

The Richmond Henty Hotel in Portland boasts a beautiful location right on the foreshore with a bistro that serves excellent food. the comfortable bed, clean facilities, and modern amenities added to the overall positive experience. the staff could improve on customer service and communication.

The location was mind-blowing, super close to town and our family gathering spot. the staff were absolutely jaw-dropping - so accommodating and welcoming, feeling right at home. A PERFECT place for a quick, but cozy stay!

The room was advertised as having a balcony, unfortunately, the balcony was so small that if the doors had been able to be opened, you could not even sit outside. the room's cleanliness and tidiness were commendable, with a kettle provided and a toaster available on request. the room was warm, comfortable, and overall well-presented, making for a pleasant stay.

One minor negative feature was that the balcony was much smaller than expected, which was not communicated clearly in the database. It would have been nice to have a bit more space to enjoy the outdoor area.

Not obvious to find.

During my business trip, my director selected Richmond Henty Hotel for our accommodations. the hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to various dining options, and the staff at nearby eateries were much more welcoming and accommodating.

Tap water tasted undrinkable;

The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is close to everything, including local eateries and the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and well-equipped facilities. The spa bath in some rooms is a great addition, perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, there is a restaurant attached to the complex, offering delicious meals.

Some guests have mentioned slow service during peak times, which can be frustrating.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a prime location on the waterfront. The hotel provided excellent value for money and had great attention to detail. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that my needs as an overseas traveler were met. The room had a magnificent view over the harbor, allowing me to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, the complimentary newspapers provided during breakfast added a nice touch.

I had a great overnight stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, tidy, and well-appointed. The location, right on the foreshore, was superb with a beautiful sea view from my room. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also had a bistro attached to it, and the food there was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

While there were a few minor inconveniences, such as a slight delay in check-in and some noise from patrons smoking outside the door, they didn't greatly impact my stay. The AC unit emitted a strange smell initially, but it dissipated quickly.

This hotel was an ideal location for a romantic escape. We enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms with lovely views of the ocean. the hotel staff were friendly and provided us with recommendations for local attractions. the on-site restaurant had a great selection of tasty dishes at reasonable prices.

The service at the hotel's restaurant was slow and not worth the wait. some of the in-room information was outdated and could use updating.
